seat allotment, or eligibility. Actual KCET counselling outcomes depend on many factors
including but not limited to: total applicants, seat availability, reservation policies,
KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) rules, and changes in government policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BookMyCollegeSeat.com ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you ("User", "Student", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.
2. About the Platform
BookMyCollegeSeat.com is operated by Codenza Systems, a sole proprietorship based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The Platform provides:

AI-powered counselling chat assistance
College-wise historical cutoff trends
Option entry guidance for KCET counselling
3. Prediction Disclaimer — No Guarantee of Admission
This is the most critical section. By using this Platform you explicitly acknowledge and agree to all of the following:
Historical data only: All predictions are based on past years' KCET cutoff ranks published by KEA. Past cutoffs do not guarantee future outcomes.
Not an official source: BookMyCollegeSeat.com has no affiliation with KEA, the Government of Karnataka, or any college or university.
Rank fluctuations: Actual cutoffs change every year depending on the number of applicants, seat matrix changes, reservation adjustments, and new college additions or removals.
Slim / Moderate / Safe are estimates: Our "Slim Chance", "Moderate Chance", and "Safe" classifications are algorithmic estimates. A college shown as "Safe" may not allot you a seat, and a college shown as "Slim" may allot you one.
No liability for decisions: Any admission-related decision you make based on this Platform — including but not limited to college choices, option entry order, or fee payments — is entirely your own responsibility. Codenza Systems shall not be held liable for any loss, financial or otherwise, arising from reliance on our predictions.
Always verify: Cross-check all information with the official KEA website at kea.kar.nic.in before finalising your choices.
4. User Accounts and Registration
You must provide accurate information during registration including your mobile number and KCET rank.
Your KCET rank, once saved, is locked to your account and cannot be changed. This is a deliberate design to ensure data integrity.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
One account per student. Creating multiple accounts is not permitted.
You must be at least 15 years of age to register.
5. Free and Paid Tiers
The Platform offers a Free Tier with limited access to predictions, chat messages, and college searches.
A Pro Tier is available for a one-time payment granting full access for the current counselling season.
Payments are processed manually via UPI. Activation occurs within 2–4 hours of payment verification.
Refund policy: Due to the digital nature of the service, payments are non-refundable once access is activated. If you believe there is an error, contact us within 48 hours.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Scrape, copy, or reproduce any data or predictions from the Platform for commercial use
Share your account credentials with others
Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Platform's prediction algorithms
Use automated bots or scripts to access the Platform
Post false, misleading, or abusive content via the AI chat interface
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Platform including the prediction algorithms, UI design, AI chat flows, and compiled cutoff data is the intellectual property of Codenza Systems. The underlying KCET cutoff data is sourced from publicly available KEA publications.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Codenza Systems shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, including admission decisions, missed deadlines, or financial losses.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
9. Data and Privacy
We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to this processing.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via SMS or the Platform interface.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
